Cork Kashaka (for Quiet practice)
These kashaka are for quiet kashaka practice. They are made from cork & have no shake sound and a very soft click sound so that you can practice kashaka without disturbing others around you. An additional benefit is that when dropped they don’t crack – use them for practicing new moves and techniques – saving your gourd kashaka from cracking while you learn. Adjustable.
These new improved Cork Kashaka are made with fine grain natural cork (instead of composite cork pieces). These have a smoother surface, good grip & are more dense than composite cork, making them respond better when playing.
Size: 45mm spherical balls suitable for most hand sizes.
Weight: Approx 35g per Kashaka (2 balls/1 hand).
Rope: The multi plaited rope is comfortable in the hand and is very strong. Heat sealed ends to prevent fraying. Adjustable for all hand sizes.
Supplied with natural cotton Kashaka pouch with kashaka logo.
UK shipping is by 1st class post.

Cork Kashaka Reviews:
“The cork kashaka are great. I use them all the time for practice.”
“I’m beginning the learning curve. Cork ones are perfect for that.”
“Hey KashakaUK, Thanks for your great service, just received my order and they look and sound very nice!! Thanks guys!” Pierre, Kendama Canada.
“Cork practice kashaka,I am still learning how to play kashaka and have broken a few sets by dropping them so I bought these cork kashaka to practice with. They are very light and easy to use and the also bounce rather than split when you drop them (dropped them already) I can see these will be good to learn with and no injuries caused when they go flying across the room ? these are a must for beginners like myself.”
“One hour training got me able to catch the cork ball with both hands in the same time. I haven’t tried with the gourds yet and i’ll have to train on the shaking sound too.”
Being quiet and less disturbing for others, Cork Kashaka can also be used as a ‘fidget toy’, similar to ‘Thumb Chucks’ or ‘Begleri’ – Kashaka involve repetitive movement, are skill based and develop focus & concentration in a similar way to some of the ‘fidget toys’ available. People use them to relieve stress & anxiety, as well as being a skill based pastime. Playing Kashaka takes this to a whole new level with double handed possibilities – while also developing your rhythmic ability & musical skills. ‘Fidget Extreme!’
